Our Automatic Top Up Service is our way of ensuring you have a steady heating oil supply and you dont have to worry about ever running out of fuel. We pre-arrange for your oil storage tank to be filled at intervals throughout the year, meaning you can enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing your tank will be topped up, whatever the weather.
Initially we will discuss with you your top-up requirements and as time goes on we will gain a better knowledge of your delivery history and be able to adjust your delivery schedule as appropriate to meet your personal individual requirements.
As a new customer, we will err on the side of caution and make a delivery approximately every other month. We would however, ask that you keep an eye on your fuel levels as well, as (unless you have a Remote Tank-Monitor * - see below) it would be impossible for us to know precisely when you are likely to run out as there are so many variables even between identical houses as to fuel use. The correct frequency of delivery can then be adjusted as time goes on.
As a top-up customer you will remain as a top priority customer, even when we are pushed to the limit with high demand.
Under the top-up service we would simply top up your tank regardless of how much that would be.
A further step-on to the above is that a tank oil-level monitoring device can be installed in your tank which allows us to monitor your tank level remotely. This takes away the guesswork when deciding when to complete a top-up delivery. Once the oil level drops below a pre-arranged trigger point we can then make an oil delivery to top-up the tank.
